The original film was written by Victor Miller, and was produced and directed by Sean S. Cunningham neither returned to write or direct any of the sequels.

All the films have differ in genre and plot. The most popular range of Friday the 13th films that developed were that jason Vs Freddy series. These formed successful with audiences as they enjoyed the suspence are thrill of these tow chnaracters batteling it with one another.
